Shipping policy
At Appa & Tails, we ensure that your order is processed and shipped with the utmost care. We work exclusively with reliable shipping partners to guarantee safe and timely delivery.
1. Processing Time
Orders placed on business days before 5:00 PM are generally shipped within 4 business days.
During busy periods or for personalized products, processing may take longer. In that case, you will be informed in time via email.
2. Delivery Time
The average delivery time within the Netherlands is 2 to 4 business days after dispatch, depending on the carrier (PostNL or a comparable partner).
For orders to Belgium or other EU countries, delivery may take 3 to 7 business days.
Please note: these timeframes are indicative. Appa & Tails is not liable for delays caused by the carrier or circumstances beyond our control (such as holidays, customs checks, or force majeure).
3. Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are automatically calculated at checkout and depend on:
- the delivery address;
- the weight and size of the package;
- any additional shipping options (such as Track & Trace or insured shipping).
During promotions or special offers, shipping may be free — this will always be clearly stated during the checkout process.
4. Track & Trace
Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a Track & Trace code by email so you can follow your delivery.
Please check it regularly to view the status of your order.
5. Not Received or Lost Packages
If your order has not arrived within the expected timeframe, please contact us within 14 days of dispatch at info@appatails.com.
We will then start an investigation with the carrier.
Appa & Tails is not responsible for packages that are incorrectly addressed due to incorrect customer details being entered.
6. Damage During Transport
Please inspect your order immediately upon receipt.
If an item arrived damaged, please contact info@appatails.com within 48 hours, including photos of the product and the packaging.
We will review the request and provide an appropriate solution.
7. International Shipping
We currently ship to the Netherlands, Belgium, and other selected EU countries.
For international orders outside the EU, additional shipping costs and import duties may apply. These costs are the responsibility of the buyer.
