First use
Before putting on the TickID for the first time, rinse the collar thoroughly under lukewarm water for a few minutes to activate the EM beads. Then let it dry completely in the sun — this is an important step to get the beads working at their best.
Once dry, put the collar on your dog. For the best results, have your dog wear the TickID daily. To keep the beads activated, rinse and sun-dry the collar every 10–15 days. Do not use soap or chemicals, as this will affect the effectiveness of the EM beads.
How does it work?
EM ceramic beads are made from natural clay mixed with Effective Microorganisms (EM) and fired at high temperatures.
According to the theory behind EM ceramics, the beads are believed to emit subtle vibrations that may interfere with ticks and other parasites, potentially making your dog less attractive to them.
Many dog owners report positive experiences with EM ceramic necklaces, making them a popular choice among those looking for natural accessories for their dogs.
Washing
TickID can be gently cleaned with lukewarm water. Preferably, do not use harsh soaps, shampoos, or chemical cleaning agents, as this can affect the beads and materials.
After cleaning, pat the collar dry with a soft cloth and then let it air dry completely. Do not put it in the washing machine, dryer, or dishwasher.
For a longer lifespan, we recommend removing TickID during intensive swimming, washing with dog shampoo, or rough play. This will keep the collar looking good and sturdy for longer.

If you order before 5:00 PM, your order will be shipped within 4 business days.
Depending on PostNL, it usually takes another 2 to 4 business days for your package to arrive at your doorstep. 🐾

The effectiveness of EM ceramic beads against ticks and fleas has not been scientifically proven. However, many dog owners report positive experiences with their use.
TickID is intended as a complementary accessory and should never replace veterinarian-recommended tick and flea prevention. Always check your dog regularly for ticks.
Always supervise your dog while wearing TickID. It is an accessory, not a toy or chew item. Never leave your dog unattended while wearing the necklace, especially if they tend to chew on accessories.

Mooie halsband en functioneel met de anti-tick kralen. Echter voor mijn kleine hond (omtrek 30cm) zitten er weinig kralen op, de lussen op het einde nemen veel plek in, en dan vind ik de prijs wel wat hoog in vergelijking met de hoeveelheid materiaal dat gebruikt wordt. Beïnvloed ook het uitzicht, in de nek van de hond zijn dus geen kralen te zien. Ook de plastic sluiting is niet heel stevig. Helaas heeft mijn hondje dit tijdens een onbewaakt moment al stukgebeten, nu sluit ik de halsband met een veiligheidsspeld. Maar dit had beter van metaal geweest. Idem voor het koord, misschien een iets steviger alternatief kiezen.
